Aaron makes fun of my attachment to books. (And I quote: "Do you ever think there might be such a thing as reading too much?" Which always leads me to fits of giggles.)
He may never quite understand it, the way my eyes glaze over as we drive by Barnes & Noble, how my heart pounds upon entering a bookstore, and I inhale deeply the scent of words yet read...
Some of you know what I'm talking about. Some of you, like me, have dangerous piles of books on your nightstands, and one day they'll bury you in your sleep. Which doesn't seem like a bad way to go, actually.
I am a nerd and keep track of what I've read along with the genre and author. So here's a glimpse of what I read this past year, books that invaded my world for awhile.

yeah...the smell of books makes me weak in the knees....
Sister!!! I love to read too. I beg to go in the bookstores...Dan will often oblige, but buys nothing. I am reading all of Jane Austen's novels right now. Love them! I've read half of them since Christmas. I've read "The Shack" from your list. Definitely fiction, but very inspiring in my opinion. There were some cool insights I thought.
Since I rarely get in a "real" bookstore, I count on Target to keep me up-to-date with new fiction, and new authors to fall in love with. They do a pretty good job of putting good stuff out there.
