February 8th - the day she stepped onto the scene and said, "Where's the party?!"
I grew up with a woman who loved life, loved laughter, and adored the children God had given her. She was my first teacher, my first audience, my first example for everything.

- spunk
- a passion for books
- love of music
- independence (a nice way of saying "stubborn as a mule")
- energized by people
- observant
- laughter that can be measured by decibles
- a bit speedy on the roads ("Cars were meant to be DRIVEN!")
Happy Birthday, Mom. Thanks for a lifetime of memories and fun. Thanks for millions of prayers over the years. Now, gas up the RV and get on up here!

if you were here, would you put on weird make-up with me and drive to indianapolis just because?
I trust you, so yes, I would do it. What in the world is in Indy? A clown audition?
laugh. not make-up (italicized) that(unitalicized)weird. (i can't get the html to work)just weird for us. today i am in some kind of mood and am wearing ponytails, blue eye shadow/liner, and too much blush. that's weird for me. you could pick whatever would be weird for you.
there's nothing in indianapolis, i just like it there. i feel like tossing the baby in the car and driving, and was wondering if you would join me if you were here.
i didn't know if motherhood was going to inhibit my wanderlust, and i am happy to discover that it has not.
what do you think about midsummer night's dream?
can i say i enjoyed the superbowl commercial with the shirtless men rubbing themselves on the car?
