Scenes from Vacation

We've been enjoying our vacation, even though the weather conditions haven't been perfect. Yesterday was sunny and mid-70s, so we stayed outside. The boys are having a blast playing in the sand and being outdoors from dawn (at least it feels that way) to dusk.

Jonathan's first beach experience!

What do you do when it's too cold to go swimming? Head to the caves! North of here are the Florida Caverns and we thought the boys would get a bang out of that. Daniel was scared at first, but at the end said, "That's my favorite, Mommy!" Below is my niece, Kaela, with Jonathan. Hard to believe this was the little girl who was the miniature bride in my wedding! I'm old...

Speaking of weddings, here is the "wedding cake" column in one part of the caves.

After all the moving stress, it's nice to be here and just relax. And blog! :)

Hey girl...you're amazing. How the heck are you making time to blog while on vacation?? Wow. Hoping the trek up north is smooth. I lost some water out my nose laughing so hard at Greg's entry into the gang world. Hillarious. Update coming your way soon from our end.
Love you,
ev

Jonathan is getting so big already! I was watching a video from way back in 11th grade and i just had to tell you how hilarious you were! you were videotaping a volleyball game for us and you were "commentating" as well and it made me laugh because you were doing it in all these silly voices about secret spies and government. we were just too silly! it was a video tape that me and Emily Felten used all year to tape us being well,...us...crazy and major dorks!

I can't believe how old your niece looks? She was still Elijah's age in my mind....time sure flies! Looks like you're having a great time! Hope you settle in well this next week, I'll be thinking and praying for you.
