Gregory says that all the time, usually accompanied with his pointer finger wagging at whomever he's addressing at the time. He pretty much came out the womb workin' the crowd and bossing everyone around. But I sure love him, because - well, he's an awful lot like me...with the emphasis on awful.
He was on the phone with Greg & Jocelyn (a.k.a. Poppy & Granny) the other night and out of the blue says, "When I'm 31, I'll still hug and kiss my Mom, 'cause I'll still be who I am." Oh my, that was a keeper. And I think 31 is significant because Aaron and I are 31, so to him - that's when you really get to be the boss.
Two mornings ago, he woke up and immediately put on his jacket. (I'm watching from the living room, curious about his intentions.) He then pull on my black boots (over pj pants) and begins stomping down the hallway.
Me: "Good morning, sweetie!"
Gregory: "Is there a fire in here??!!"
Obviously, another day in the life of a 4 and 1/2 year old superhero.
