This was probably the best book I ever read about motherhood. Here's the author, Katrina Kenison reading from a chapter. My friend, Tricia, posted this on facebook, and I just thought it needed to live on!

Well, that was a two tissue event! Wow..does that ever take me back. One of the lines that gripped me the hardest was "getting to say good night in person". I didn't know how to appreciate it then. I wish I was alone so I could really weep out loud and long. Where did the years go?! I am thankful for them all. So proud of the Mom you are! Love, Mom
Thank you so much for posting this! I love it and have forwarded it on to so many people! Even the random person in the school office today at Caroline's speech therapy! Helps keep things in perspective for us in the thick of it!! Sue Simpson

Oh man, maybe I shouldn't read this on the plane as I had planned. Sobbing uncontrollably in public is not a good thing!
