March Madness

And, no, I don't mean basketball.

This has officially been the longest month of my life.

Sweet mercy, I wanna have this baby.

Yesterday it was 4cm -- we gotta be close now. Please don't offer suggestions on how to hurry along the birth; I've heard 'em all.

A quote from Aaron over the weekend as I opened a baby girl gift from a friend at church, "This had better be a girl, or you got some 'SPLAININ' to do"

Hang in there J! I remember many years ago just crying out to my mom, " I just want to have this baby!" At the time, I did not know it was a girl. Girls have their own time table...It's practice for life!

when are they gonna put you out of your misery? I clearly recall walking around 4cm for a week, and that was with getting membranes stripped....hope its faster for you!!!

When you have your healthy baby girl you'll be glad she took her sweet time growing and developing. I can't wait to see pictures. It won't be long!! Your hubby better be rubbing your feet and giving you time for bubble baths or he'll have a lot of splainin' to do! :-)

That's cute! Did he use the Latino voice like Ricky??

Sorry it's dragging out! Anticipation is fun but come on... I think you've had enough wait time. I know it must be exhausting and down right annoying but you really are doing great. Way to be tough! Miss you and love you!

I feel your pain. Madison was 23 days late (or past her due date). When you're at the end like that, the last things you want to hear are all of the "foolproof" methods on inducing labor...especially since none of them work.

I REALLY hated when people would ask, to my face, "haven't you had that baby yet?"

Hang in there, honey. Once you see that pretty little face, the frustration will fade, and it will have all been worth it. I'm praying for you!

Love you!

What?! What do you mean you don't want advice? That's just ridiculous. :) Have you tried crying? That always got my doc to go ahead and induce labor! Of course he's a man and you know they just want to make the crying stop! Have someone post some pics (AND THE NAME) when precious girl arrives! -christina

have you seen 'waitress'? poor choices on the part of the characters aside, when the baby is born it's just too amazing. it was worth watching the entire movie just for that one scene.
i'm not going to say anything about your condition one way or the other. i'm sure whatever i said would be annoying. :)
love you lots.

no, haven't seen that movie. but i'm reading this book called birth house - fiction - that depicts all these births from 1900s and it's giving me a LOT of visuals right now...and thankful I live in 2008 :)

Hang in there Jeannie!! Girls are slow to come out, know why? because once their born we never stop. Oh and if you don't have a chatterbox with any of the boys, watch out.....girls are very chatty! I'm talking from experience.......once Ashley started talking.......whew! Oh, but I do love that girl.

Coleen just forwarded me your blog. For some reason I had lost track of the address. Hang in there....I remember those final weeks. As my O.B. always reminded me: There's a reason God made you pregnant for 9 and not 8 months. By the end of the last month, you'll endure anything to have that baby. I'll pray for a fast and healthy delivery for you and your little princess (how exciting!). By the way, the book that your reading "Birth House" was written by my brother-in-law's sister. She grew up in Lebanon Indiana (near indianapolis). I have not read it yet, but heard it's pretty good. Let me know what you think. Happy Delivery! Looking forward to the pics.

Jeannie Beanie...you are very quiet there in snow land. Does this mean baby is here? Or that you are simply refusing to speak till she comes. Either way...I'm with ya.
